The Helping House is a community food pantry sponsored by First Baptist Church Sanger to help support the mission of serving families and individuals in need. The Helping House is located across from the church in the building that formerly housed the First Refuge food pantry, and it continues the important work of ensuring that members of our community have access to essential food and support. This new initiative provides an important resource for those experiencing difficult times and reflects the compassionate spirit that makes our community strong.
Supporting organizations like The Helping House aligns closely with the core values and ethos of Freemasonry—particularly the principle of relief, which encourages Masons to provide assistance to those in need. Bolivar Masonic Lodge believes that meaningful service begins at the local level, and partnerships with organizations such as The Helping House allow us to make a direct and positive impact in the Sanger community. By contributing to programs that provide food, dignity, and hope, the lodge continues its long tradition of charitable outreach and community support, strengthening the bonds of brotherhood while helping neighbors who need it most.
