Dr. George Richard Clerihew, 95, passed away on February 21, 2025, in Denton, Texas. George’s passions were many. He was an avid golfer, winning several tournaments and recording multiple hole-in-ones. He also loved shooting and won numerous skeet shooting tournaments. His enthusiasm for both golf and shooting remained strong well into his 90s. George was a longtime member of the Denton Country Club and North Texas Shooters Association. He was also a Master Mason and a member of Bolivar Lodge.

Douglas Leon Amyx, 86, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. Member and past Worshipful Master of Greenwood Masonic Lodge #91. Served as Past District Deputy of the SC Grand Lodge for the Eleventh District. Brother Doug was a Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Past Royal Patron of the Order of the Amaranth. He was a 33rd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite Temple and was a member of the York Rite Bodies.
