Smokehouse Creek Fire
Fritch, Texas Panhandle
Donny Mack left early Tuesday morning with a trailer carrying equipment and supplies, some donated by 84 Lumber, to the fire victims of the town of Fritch in the Texas Panhandle.
Donny is a local builder (Beaver Builders) in Sanger and is a member of the Bolivar Masonic Lodge. Fritch is a small town about 36 miles NNE of Amarillo and is in the center of the one million-plus acre Smokehouse Creek fire. Many homes in the area have been reduced to nothing but a pile of ashes while ranches have been reduced to burned-out rubble.
Bolivar Lodge is happy to have raised $4500 from its members to send with Donny to the Fritch Celebration Family Church to aid in recovery. Texas Baptist Men already has 60 workers on the ground is Fritch to help. Please consider donations to this effort in the Panhandle!
Bolivar Masonic Lodge also presented a donation of $2000.00 to the Bolivar Cemetery Association.
